AI Agent Engineering

A bounded agent that does one job, with named tools, a record of each decision, and a set of examples that show when it is wrong.

The problem

An open chat box answers everything and owns nothing. Teams need a worker with a job description, not another window that sounds confident.

Who it is for

Teams that can name one job a person repeats, and can say which systems that job is allowed to touch.

Use cases

  1. Policy check

The agent reads a request, checks it against a written rule, and recommends an action.

  2. Brief from two tools

It pulls from the two systems you name and writes a brief a person can finish.

  3. A visible failure set

You get examples of wrong answers, not only a demo of the happy path.

Deliverables

  • A job definition, the tools the agent may use, and the tools it may not.
  • Traces of decisions on your sample work.
  • A handoff so your team can run it without us in the room.

Limits

  • We do not ship an unbounded public chatbot as the first release.
  • We do not leave an agent unsupervised on live customer work on day one.
  • We do not treat a fluent answer as a correct one.

How it runs

  1. 01

    Write the job

One sentence for what done looks like, and a list of refusals.

  2. 02

    Limit the tools

Each tool has a permission and a reason.

  3. 03

    Score the samples

We keep the cases it gets wrong next to the cases it gets right.

  4. 04

    Hand it over

You get the traces, the limits, and the person who owns it.

Questions

Is this the chatbot on the website?

No. This site has no open chat. An agent we build is a worker for a defined internal job.

Can it use our documents?

Yes, when the job needs them. We show the source it used. We do not train a public model on your files.

Start with this job, or tell us it is the wrong one.
